She was predeceased by: her son David Lee Valentine; her parents, Lucinda Behel and Charlie Behel; and her siblings, James, Harry Benton, McKinley, Cletus Behel, Rubye Haygood, Eurma Thompson, Earline Balentine, Oveta Kimbrough, LeVora Ann Behel and Shirley Behel.
She is survived by: her husband Loyd Valentine; her daughter Joyce Brawley (Scott); her grandchildren, Bradley Valentine, Chris Valentine (Leslie), Amber Thompson (Seth) and Blake Ray (Talea); her great grandchildren, Madison, Brayley, Bentley, Adalynn Valentine, Sydney, Carter Thompson and Hadley Ray; her daughter-in-law Alma Valentine; and her sister Mary Lou Parker.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be made to the cemetery fund at Mount Zion Church of Christ.
