He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Noble Jones and Dorothy Dean Pifer Jones; his brother Michael Gerard Jones; and his sisters-in-law, Minerva Cruz Jones and Mercedes "Mercy" Viola Jones.
He is survived by: his siblings, Robert Stan Jones and Mildred "Millie" Jones Haworth (Alan); his former wives, Delta Smith and Muscle Shoals; and his sister-in-law Angie Richardson of Tuscaloosa.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to St. Vincent de Paul Society or St. Michael's Catholic Church in Florence.
