He is survived by: his wife Jacquelyn Akins Marler; his siblings, William (Joanne) of Boulder, CO and Elaine McFarland (Gene) of Van Nuys, CA; his sons, David (Holly) of El Dora, IA and Stephen of Cranford, NJ; and his stepdaughters, Mona Pate (Rick) of Haleyville, AL, Marsha Hosner (Rich) of Huntsville, AL and Margo Wells (Cecil) of Guntersville, AL.
