With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Franklin Walker Penn (Florence, Alabama), who passed away on September 1, 2019 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, James Penn and Marion Walker Penn; his spouse Jean Harrison; and his brother Jimmy. He is survived by: his daughters, Amanda and Susan; his grandchildren, Christian and Allyson Dunkerly; and his brother Joe Penn. He is also survived by his children, grandchildren, and a bevy of nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the Florence VFW food bank or the Wounded Warrior fund.
