He was predeceased by: his wife Margaret Estelle Scott; his parents, Elmer Scott and Allie Scott; and his siblings, James, Herman, Johnnie Scott, Eloise Faulkner, Mildred Watson and Jessie Wright.
He is survived by: his daughter Jenny Layne Williams; and his grandchildren, Brayden Allen Williams and Adalyn Estelle Williams. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Mars Hill Bible School in honor of George Scott.
