He was predeceased by: his mother Emma Marie Gruber Myrick; and his grandparents, Conrad and Naomi Gruber. He is survived by: his daughter Julie Lanier (Major David Lanier); his grandchildren, Magdalene Gruber, Alex Lanier and Daniel Lanier; and his brother Robert E. Myrick.
Due to corona virus issues, a graveside service with military honors will be held at St. Michael's Cemetery, St. Florian, with Father John O'Donnell officiating, on Saturday, January 16, 2021, at 11:00AM.
