He was predeceased by: his parents, Howard Raymond Daugherty and Isabelle Elizabeth Wilson Daugherty. He is survived by: his wife Patricia Lee Barriger Daugherty; his children, Gerald Daugherty (Anne), David Daugherty (Laura), Kevin Daugherty (Therese), Jerry Ross, San Antonio, Matthew Ross and Sandra Daugherty (Eric); and his brothers, James Daugherty (Irene) and William Daugherty (April).

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to ASPCA or Safe Place.
