He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy Herston and Audrey Herston; his brother Bobby "Ted"; and his sister-in-law Martha Herston. He is survived by: his brother William David; and his sister-in-law Jacqueline Herston. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
