He was predeceased by: his parents, Homer Hill and Velma Hill; his wife Susie May Hill; his son Gilbert "Danny" Hill Jr.; and his siblings, Opal Gray, Sue Maness, Howard Hill, William Hill and Fred Hill.
He is survived by: his grandchildren, Janie Burgess (Chris), Leslie Hill (Miranda) and Josh Keaton; his great grandchildren, Regen Keaton and Colby Burgess; and his sister Patricia Howard (Dickie). He is also survived by 13 nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers the family asks that memorial contributions be made in Gilbert's name to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or a charity of your choice.
