She was predeceased by: her parents, Eddie Albert Yates and Evia Yates; her brothers, Ernest Turner, Jr. and James Lewis Yates; and her parents-in-law, William Sr. and Martha Pearl Jackson.
She is survived by: her husband William Jackson; her children, Patricia Goodloe (Antwon) of Tuscumbia, Tina Woods (Oscar) of Sheffield, Andrew Turner (Jona) of Sheffield and Robert Turner of Atlanta; her grandchildren, Tyricus, Dyricus, Anya, T'Nariah, Tayhlan and Karmia; her siblings, Sallie Smith (Jessie), Rosa Goodloe (Pernell), Norma Davis (Kemp), Albert Jr. Yates, III, Jessie Yates (Gina), Kenneth Yates (Tracy) and Carl E. Yates; and her siblings-in-law, Gary Jackson, Chris Jackson, Elizabeth Jacskon and Melinda Jackson.
