He was predeceased by: his wife Mary Benson Bevis; his parents, Virgil Bevis and Maymie Bevis; and his sister Elaine Hill. He is survived by: his daughter Tracy Murphy (Mark); his grandchildren, Alicia Durham (Daniel), Jenny Burchell (Eddie), Michelle Gasque (Lance) and Dylan Murphy; his great grandchildren, Logan, Hunter Durham and Avery Burchell; and his siblings, Don Bevis (Marie), Faye Martin, Shirley Swicegood (Gerald) and Shirley Smith. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
