He is survived by: his wife Betty Norton Darby; his children, Clifford Daniel Darby (Kathryn) of Richmond, VA, Mary Ann Howard of Macon, GA and John Patrick Darby (Caroline) of Birmingham, AL; his grandchildren, Patrick Roberts Darby, Margaret Olivia Howard, Helen Catherine Darby and John Thomas Darby; his sisters, JoAnn Frazier and Suzy Darby; and his nephew Clifford Barlett Darby.
