James Gist Sr. Obituary
We are sad to announce that on February 13, 2021, at the age of 92, James Gist Sr. of Florence, Alabama passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of James Gist Sr. to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his significant other Jo Helen Gist (Killen) of Florence; and his parents, James A Gist and Hepsey Jane Gist of Sheffield. He is survived by: his sons, Jimmy Gist (Stacy) of Jasper and John David Gist of Florence; his sister Dorothy Jane Taylor; his grandchildren, Chrissy Going (Eddie) and Greg Gist (Rachel); and his great grandchildren, Charlie Going, Cameroon Going and Cooper Gist. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
