He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph James Chandler and Eunice Thelma White; and his half-siblings, Onus, Luther, Clifton, Lula Thigpen, Ula Thornton, Birdie Roberson and Omie Heathcoat.
He is survived by: his children, Brooke Brewer (Paul), Hailey Jane and Paul Henry Brewer, Jr.; his stepson Jason; his brother Samuel Chandler (Faye); and his siblings-in-law, Dexter, Susie, Sheila and Mary. He is also survived by nephew, Tim Weeks (Eva), and children.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.
