She was predeceased by: her husband James E. Mackey; her son-in-law William R. Bland; and her siblings, Elizabeth Bowser, Grace Killin of Virginia, Ellen Snider and Duncan Gray, Jr..
She is survived by: her children, Susan M. Bland and Philip Mackey; her grandchildren, John Bland (Kelly) and Elizabeth Wiss (Daniel); her great grandchild Marley Jane Wiss; and her siblings, Anne Jones and Thomas Edward Gray. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
