He was predeceased by: his grandparents, William Clyde, Alma McIntyre, Henry Robert and Etta Darby; and his father Louie McIntyre.

He is survived by: his father-in-law Phillip; his wife Liz Rhodes McIntyre; his sons, Matt Austin (Kendra) and Derrick Austin (Brooke); his grandsons, Wyatt and Luke Austin; his mother Katherine McIntyre; his brother Bryan McIntyre; his aunt Mary Frances McIntyre; his uncle Marion Darby; his mother-in-law Degloris Rhodes; and his sisters-in-law, Sabrina Reed (Jimmy) and Sharon Rhodes (Chris). He is also survived by several Nieces, Nephews, Cousins.

In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts can be directed to Central High School Athletic Department; Attn: Duane Keener – 3000 County Rd 200, Florence, AL 35633 with a note in memory of Jeff McIntyre.
