It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jerry Smith of Florence, Alabama, who passed away on January 27, 2021, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Kerry Smith of Sheffield and Dorothy Cossey Pruett of Florence; and his brother Kerry Don Smith. He is survived by: his wife Pat Smith of Florence; his daughter Traci Godwin (Chuck) of Florence; and his sister Wanda Talley of Florence. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
