He was predeceased by: his parents, Jess Phillips and Era Phillips; his daughter Jessica Hope Phillips; and his sister Ima Jean Phillips McFall. He is survived by: his wife Tina Berry Phillips; his siblings, Acquilla Chambers (late Joseph), Kay Montgomery (Billy), Melba Fortner (late Bill), Jimmy Phillips (Barbara), Nancy Valentine (Billy), Renee Wilson (Tony) and Scotty Phillips (Vicky); and his friend Rebecca Stutts. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews and many other friends.
