He is survived by: his wife Tina Berry Phillips; his siblings, Acquilla Chambers (late Joseph), Kay Montgomery (Billy), Melba Fortner (late Bill), Jimmy Phillips (Barbara), Nancy Valentine (Billy), Renee Wilson (Tony) and Scotty Phillips (Vicky); his friend Rebecca Stutts; and also Oliver Phillips. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews and many other friends.
