She was predeceased by: her husbands, Arthur Cook and Thomas Lambert; her parents, Loren Hawkins and Mary Hawkins; her sister Cora Hawkins; and her grandparents, Leroy and Laura Hurt.
She is survived by: her daughter Laura Awai (Wendell) of Greenbrier, TN; her grandchildren, Natalie Carlisle (Joey) of Tupelo, MS and Melonie Blaylock (John Paul) of Tupelo, MS; her great grandchildren, Kelsie Hunter (James) of Nashville, TN and Emmalee Blaylock of Florence, AL; and her close friend Gloria Dean of Florence, AL. She is also survived by many cousins and friends.
