Kathleen Haataja Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Kathleen Haataja of Florence, Alabama, who passed away on February 9, 2021, at the age of 98, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Albert Spires and Clara Rhodes Spires of Cloverdale; her husband Elmer Haataja; her sisters, Lyda Mae Crosslin (Robert) and Ruth Moore (Thomas); and her son-in-law Randy Belew.
She is survived by: her grandchildren, Deena Young (Travis), Charlotte Bartlett (J. J.), Phillip Hanback (Thuong), Shannon Haataja (DeAnna) and Scott Haataja (Alisha); her great grandchildren, Tyler Young, Kaylee Young, Evan Haataja, Austin Haataja and Allison Haataja; and her great great grandchildren, Annabeth Young, Oakley Young and Deacon Young. She is also survived by two children, one daughter and one son.
Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, social distancing protocol will be followed and masks are requested.
