It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Larry Donnell Swinney of Florence, Alabama, who passed away on April 28, 2021, at the age of 65, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Mattie Elizabeth Smith and Walter Swinney, Jr. of Florence, Alabama.; his siblings, Shirley Smith Swinney, Billy Young, Rea Smith, James Edward Swinney and Johnny Smith; and his aunts, Lizzie Mae Hill and Eva Caldwell.
He is survived by: his children, Makaila Swinney, Blessin Swinney of Florence and Julian Smith of Florence; his stepdaughter Tyrecca Thompson of Florence; his grandchildren, ZaRyeah Stover and Kyngstin Stover; and his brother Frank Clyde Smith of Florence.
