He was predeceased by: his parents, Christine Williams and Milton Hooper; his siblings, Jimmy Colburn, Donald Hooper, Brenda Sheffield and Barbara Hooper; and his daughter Brenda Balentine.
He is survived by: his children, Tammy Balentine, Jennifer Hooper and Larry "Gene" Hooper II; his grandchildren, Benjamin Balentine (Bridget) and Christina Balentine; his great grandchildren, Braylon, Ma'Kiylon Whitson, Addison, Maverick Balentine and Londyn McCray; his siblings, Jerry, Williard Hooper and Peggy Trousdale; his niece Virginia Eckl; and his pet Bella Eugene. He is also survived by his children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
