She was predeceased by: her husband Wesley Thompson; her daughter Sherrie Elaine Roy; and her parents, McKinley Roy and Betty Dollison Roy. She is survived by: her children, Vivian Boddy, Rosemary Pruitt (Karel), Sherrod W. Roy, Betty McDaniel (David), Carol Lumbus, Freddie Roy and Allen Keith Roy; and her sisters-in-law, Virginia Summerhill and Caldwell. She is also survived by grandchildren, 10; great-grandchildren.
