She was predeceased by: her mother Virginia Stricklin Ellis; her husband Samuel Pettus Hall III; her parent Dr. L. Culver Ellis; and her grandparents, Dr. Lovick Culver, Grace Holland Ellis, Sr., Robert A. and Ruby Stricklin.
She is survived by: her daughter Virginia Quigley Thornley (Christian); her stepchildren, Leah Elizabeth Hall and Samuel Benjamin Hall (Jennifer); her grandson Harrison Charles Anthony Thornley; her sibling's children, Melinda Musgrove Chapman (Tyler), Camille Ellis Musgrove, Jessica Diane Vines, Kelli Quillen Bassham, Katelyn Quillen Springer (Dylan) and Dr. John Larkin Musgrove, Jr.; her mother-in-law Lavern Givens Hall; her siblings-in-law, Dr. John Larkin Musgrove, Bridgett Hall Vines (Gerald) and Katrina Hall Kelley; and her friend Madolyn.
Due to COVID-19 restrictions a graveside service will be held at 2:00 p. m. on Sunday, January 31st at Florence Cemetery with Associate Pastor Chris Underwood of Highland Baptist Church officiating.
