She was predeceased by: her parents, Alexander Larimore George and Emily Whitfield George; and her sister-in-law Roberta George. She is survived by: her children, Stephen Robert Armstrong (Margaret), David George Armstrong and Frances Ann Woodruff (Scott); her grandchildren, Wade Larimore Armstrong (Mary Jane), Reed Whitfield Armstrong, Liz Woodruff (Hayden) and Daniel Peterman (Kendal); her great grandchildren, Walton George Armstrong, Ava Grace Woodruff and Hayden Brett Woodruff; and her brothers, Alex George (Ann Carol) and James W. George.
Due to the current pandemic, the family is having a private graveside service at Florence City Cemetery.
