He was predeceased by: his parents, Tom Hughes and Mary Hughes; his sister Tina Holmes; and his stepdaughter Jennifer Harrison. He is survived by: his son Marcus Hughes (Carolyn); his grandchildren, Jordan Harrison, Jacey Harrison De Luna (Pedro) and Audrey Hughes; his brother Eddy Hughes; and his former wife Wanda Hughes.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to help with funeral expenses at Spry Williams Funeral Home.
