She was predeceased by: her parents, Lee Dowdy and Ada Dowdy; her husband Frank Schifano; her sister-in-law Bernice Dowdy; and her son-in-law Roger Davis.
She is survived by: her children, Tony Schifano, Mary Alice Davis, Debbie Schifano and Gina Jones (Robert); her siblings, Charles Dowdy, Winford Dowdy and Lois McCormick; her grandchildren, Tracey Woodward (Lisa), Brett Woodward (Nakia), Tiffany Shockley, Sean Schifano, Lauren Schifano and April Archer; and her great grandchildren, Sadie, Sam, Sydney, Xander, Abby and Ayden.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society or Alzheimer's Association.
