He was predeceased by: his parents, John Kelly and Virginia Oaks; his stepfather O. H. Oaks; and his brother Oneal Kelly. He is survived by: his wife Carol Kelly; his sons, Brandon Kelly, Daniel Kelly and Michael Kelly; and his brothers, Jimmy Oaks (Stephanie) and Tim Oaks (Melanie). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
