He is survived by: his wife Elizabeth L. Kidd; his children, Debby Clements (Mike), Amy Kidd (Bernard Michaud) and Ricky Kidd (Lori); his grandchildren, Bryan Clements, Todd Clements, Jackson Kidd, Maggie Kidd and Evan Kidd; his great grandchildren, Parker Clements and Evelyn Clements; and his sister Ruth K. Benson.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to Hospice of North Alabama, or Women's Auxiliary of Salvation Army in Paul's name.
