He was predeceased by: his daughter Marsha Dee Davidson; his parents, William J. Davidson (Bill) and Corine Thornton Davidson; his brothers, Donnie Davidson and Stephen Davidson; and his brother-in-law Jay Nunnery.

He is survived by: his wife Peggy Austin Davidson; his daughter Dana Crawford (Paul); his granddaughters, Caitlyn and Cayla Dee Crawford; and his brother Troy Davidson (Carol). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
