He was predeceased by: his parents, Steve Brooks and Glenda Biggers; his granddaughter Payten Pounders; his parents-in-law, Bobby and Sandy Brewer; his sisters, Patricia Clemmons and Regina Brooks; and his brother-in-law Keith Brewer.
He is survived by: his wife Kelly Brooks; his children, Melinda Pounders (Dustin), Daniel Hawk and Kim Hawk (Boomer); his siblings, Michelle Caldwell (Sean) and Danny Clemmons; and his grandchildren, Hayden, Kaylee Hawk, Jace, Easton and Brently Pounders. He is also survived by nieces, nephews and cousins.
