He is survived by: his wife Martha Dawson Abernathy; his children, Bobbie Bouldin, Keith Abernathy (Paige), Mary Beth Sizemore, Monica Cunningham and Shawn Cunningham (Blair); his grandchildren, Grayson Abernathy, Tyler, Zackary Poss, Nathan, Sawyer, Jordyn Cunningham, Addison and Trent Sizemore; and his brother Charles Abernathy. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
