He was predeceased by: his parents, Rollie Davis and Olive Davis. He is survived by: his wife Jan Davis; his sons, James Davis (Tiffany) and Jonathan Davis (Talissa); his grandchildren, Mazie Davis, Samara Davis and Daniel Edwards; and his siblings, Charles Davis and Pat Schaeffer (Ron). He is also survived by nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to NAMI of the Shoals, 749 Thompson St, Florence, AL 35630.
