Ruby Dean Vickery Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Ruby Dean Vickery of Florence, Alabama, who passed away on January 25, 2021 at the age of 90. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Ruby Dean Vickery to pay them a last tribute.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Archie Berryhill and Ophelia Berryhill (Jeffreys); her husband Ray Vickery; her sons, Micheal Vickery (Linda Koebert) of Traverse City, MI and Patrick Vickery (Nancy) of Euclid, OH; her grandmother Dean; her aunt Ruby Dean; and her siblings, Doris Jean Lee, Sue Berryhill, Sylvia Myers, Max Berryhill and Allen Charles Berryhill. She was also cherished by the grandchildren, great grandchildren, family members.
She lived with cancer for many years but was unable to fight off COVID19-related viral pneumonia.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in her name to the Camp Bluebird Adult Cancer Camp through the St. Vincent's Foundation.
