She was predeceased by: her parents, Ralph Emerson Graham and Methodist; her children, Dorothy Joan Carter and Oliver Carter; her brothers, Jack Graham, Patrick Graham and Maurice Graham; and her siblings-in-law, Betty and Russell Shelton.
She is survived by: her wife Annie Elsie (Zimmerman); her aunt Mamie Graham Aycock; her friend Edward L. Carter, Jr.; her siblings, Ronald (Mary), Marcellus (Denise), Sam (Doyle), Ben (Kathy), Bill (Ruth), Patricia Shelton, Miriam Cuddington (Bill) and Phoebe; her sisters-in-law, Mary Faye and Lila; her children, Edna Carter (Charles Rose) and Mary Young (Donny); her daughter-in-law Michiko; her grandchildren, Israel, Whitney, Chia, Kou, Sho, Timothy and Nicky; her great grandchildren, Madeline, Izuki, Brenda Skipworth and Kelly Willard; her daughter Bonnie Rogers; and also Oliver. She is also survived by her parents, her husband.
