She was predeceased by: her husband Richard Wright; her parents, Elton Newbern and Mary Newbern; and her sisters, Shelia and Judy Carol Newbern.

She is survived by: her sons, Bobby Lee Wright (Heather) and Phillip Shannon Wright (Virginia); her brothers, Gary Newbern (Melissa), Wayne Newbern and David Newbern; and her pets, Sammy and Dorie.
