Shirley South Obituary
We are sad to announce that on December 23, 2020, at the age of 85, Shirley South of Florence, Alabama passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband John Thomas South; her parents, Howard Balentine and Cordelia Balentine; and her brother Burlon Balentine. She is survived by: her children, Mike South, Sharon Pharris, Karen Pitts (Mike) and Regina Poole (Steve); her grandchildren, Molly Wilson, Amanda LaForte, Amy Penny, Michael Pitts and John Poole; and her brother Elvis Balentine.
The service will be private due to Covid - 19.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Kindred Hospice.
