He was predeceased by: his wife Marsue Hill Haraway; his parents, Thomas B, Sr. and Anabel Haraway; and his siblings, Harlett B. Haraway, Horace Haraway, Hollis Haraway, O'Neal McCarley, Lucille Garner, Imogene Tuten and Nancy Garner.
He is survived by: his children, Ricky Haraway (Kathy) and Jamie Terrell (Bobby); his grandchildren, Bo Terrell (Nicole), Matthew Terrell (Whitney), Justin Haraway, Tyler Haraway (Ann Marie) and Toni Thomas (Mitchem); and his great grandchildren, Harper Haraway, Ellis Haraway, Jackson Haraway, Rylie Terrell and Mason Terrell. He is also survived by great-nieces and nephews.
