He was predeceased by: his parents, George Ben and Julia Stidham Harper; and his siblings, Felix, Everett, Paskil Harper, Nettie Gann, Estelle Jones and Deaner Hayes.
He is survived by: his wife Ellean Littleton Harper of Florence, AL; his children, Tracy Harper of Florence, AL, Vicky Martin of Iron City, TN, Cindy Richards of Decatur, AL and Kim Harper of Florence, AL; his grandchildren, Anthony, Tyler and Makenzie; his great grandchildren, Eli and Knox; his pet Spunkee; and his siblings, Monroe Harper of Wetumpka, AL, Lee Hamilton of Rockford, AL and Hilda Kelly of Wetumpka, AL. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
