He was predeceased by: his parents, Howard Broadfoot and Artie Lou Broadfoot; and his sister June Slatton. He is survived by: his wife Ruth Broadfoot (Rickard); his children, Lisa Whatley (Rod) and Howard Broadfoot (Laurel); his sisters, Lois Linville (Joel) and Betty Mulvahill; his grandchildren, Caroline Jones (Jeffrey), Alex Beumer and Will Broadfoot; and his great grandchild Stella Jones.
