William Howard Carson Jr. Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of William Howard Carson Jr. of Florence, Alabama, who passed away on December 22, 2020 at the age of 81. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, William Howard Carson and Valerie Morris Carson; and his siblings, Wilmer Carson, Wilford Carson, Mary Ann Carson and Linda Lou Rye.
He is survived by: his wife Janis Isom Carson; his children, Danielle Elliott (Craig), Josie Isom (Jay), Richard Carson (Jessica) and Howard Carson (Melody); his siblings, Brenda Sue Tumlin (Mark), Edward Carson and Earl Carson; and his grandchildren, Grace Ann Melson (Tyler), Lillie Price (Drew), Ann Burton Elliott, Clyde Isom (Morgan), Billy Carson, Clarke Carson, Ray Elliott, Will Carson, Mildred Isom, Percy Carson and Hayes Carson. He is also survived by eight great grandchildren.
Because of health concerns surrounding Covid-19, a family-only funeral service will be held at Greenview Memorial Chapel at 2:00 p. m. Saturday, December 26, with David Web officiating.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Sherrod Avenue Church of Christ.
