He is survived by: his wife Joyce Ann Malone Collum; his children, Janet Cartee (Joel) and Jeff Collum (Jennifer); his grandchildren, Christopher Thompson of Washington, Jake Smith of Harrisonburg, VA, Ally Collum of Nashville, TN and Emily Collum of Birmingham, AL; his great grandchildren, Riley and Nicholas; and his siblings, Charles Wheeler Collum (Brenda) and Jane Collum Woodard (Roy Dean). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
