It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dave Austin (Fort Payne, Alabama), born in Sylacauga, Alabama, who passed away on March 17, 2020, at the age of 69, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Willie Ralph and Lois Ellison Austin. He is survived by: his wife Myra Gooden Austin; his children, Ellison Pitts and Rob Austin (Ashley); his grandchildren, John Austin, Sam Pitts, Charlie and Baby Girl Austin; his brothers, Perry Austin (Carol), Steve Austin and Bill Austin (Nancy); his mother-in-law Jean Baxley; his siblings-in-law, Ben Baxley (Nacole) and Carol Haynes (Rick); and his stepmother-in-law Kathleen Gooden. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
