It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gordon King Gilchrist (Fort Payne, Alabama), who passed away on March 21, 2019, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Troy Gilchrist and Tressie Gilchrist (King); his wife Georgia Kae Stewart; and his siblings, Billy, Archie (Virginia) and Laura Sue Whisenhunt.

He is survived by: his sister-in-law Peggy Gilchrist. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
