It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Irby Ray Farmer of Fort Payne, Alabama, who passed away on October 11, 2021, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Esmie Farmer and Emma Burgess Farmer. He is survived by: his wife Patsy Farmer; his daughter Janice Sparks; his stepchildren, Lisa C. Harrison and Kenneth Chitwood; his granddaughter Staci Sparks; and his stepgrandchildren, Jordan Chitwood, Derrick Chitwood, Whitney Ralph and Chase Williams. He is also survived by 5 great-grandchildren.
