He is survived by: his wife Darlene Barton; his children, Kimberly Royal, Shelly West (Shelby), Deanna Gaines (Michael), David Garner (Katie) and Fred Garner (Jane); his siblings, Clifford Barton, Ernest Barton, Jeff Andrus and Margaret Barton; and his grandchildren, Tiffany, Melanie, Stephanie Garner, Rebecca, Rachel Garner, Chad, Kristen Miller, Bryson Royal, Lily and Lyla West. He is also survived by nine great-grandchildren.
