He was predeceased by: his parent L. B. Thornberry. He is survived by: his mother Wanda Thornberry Spillman; and his siblings, Janet Evett, Ray Thornberry (Lisa) and Sonya Maynard (Jason). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews and great-nieces and great-nephews.
