He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Wells and Lorena Wells; and his brother Billy Wells of Cullman. He is survived by: his wife Elizabeth Crabtree Wells; his daughter Michaelle Wells Jones (Chris); his grandsons, Tucker and Hudson; and his brothers, Richard H. Wells (Donna) and James "Jimmy" F. Wells (Cindy). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
