She was predeceased by: her father Robert Berry (Burt Hood). She is survived by: her children, Nena Hood and Eli Hood; her fiancé Wade Holder; her mother Anita Barkley Berry; her sister Jessica Nelson (Justin); and her niece Evie.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions be made to The Summit, c/o DeKalb Baptist Association, 2185 Parker Avenue SE, Rainsville, AL 35986.
